About this identification

Rows of tiny leaflets in feathery, twice-divided sprays crown this leaning lakeside tree, the same yellow flame foliage as the rest of the avenue. A close view of its yellow flowers would complete the identification.

Identified from photographs of bark, leaves, fallen litter and epiphytes against the Malaysian campus-tree flora. Moderate and tentative records would be settled by a close-up of flowers or fruit.

Species reference: Peltophorum pterocarpum
