About this identification

Fine bipinnate leaves in flat, feathery sprays fill the crown, and the fissured grey-brown bark matches a maturing yellow flame. Some larger-leaved shoots nearby belong to a neighbouring tree. Confirm with a flower or pod close-up.

Identified from photographs of bark, leaves, fallen litter and epiphytes against the Malaysian campus-tree flora. Moderate and tentative records would be settled by a close-up of flowers or fruit.
